Meet Neil Matthies

Neil Matthies, President

Neil Matthies has a Masters Degree from the University of Oregon and over 25 years of college level teaching experience. In 1985, Neil chose to change careers and has since worked as President of Peak Performance Learning Systems/Lifelong Learning Centre Inc. This Training Company is part of the Tracy International organization with offices in about 35 Countries and 19 Languages.

Neil developed a team to market and facilitate thousands of graduates through Brian Tracy video assisted, multi-media training programs. He has personally facilitated these programs many hundreds of times, for a wide variety of clients in business, government and aboriginal communities, in various parts of North America.

Neil has been awarded the International Peak Performer of the Year Award for highest personal sales internationally. He has also qualified annually among the top three in personal sales results.

With many years of experience in salesmanship, sales management, general management, leadership training and business ownership, Neil delivers a dynamic approach to training programs. Neil’s instruction focuses on the assessment, design, delivery and evaluation of results. He brings with him an entrepreneurial flair, along with solid sales management experience. He is a proven trainer/facilitator and has worked with many corporations who enjoyed and benefited from Neil’s unique ability to get the message across.

Neil has delivered customized workshops for many companies including, Canada Post Corporation, R.C.M.P., Air Canada, FWS Construction Ltd., Department of National Defense, E.H.Price Manufacturing, Motor Coach Industries, Various Federal Government Departments, The Royal Bank of Canada, Manitoba Telephone Systems, Investors Group, and many, many others.

In 1988, he co-founded the Peak Performers Toastmasters Club. This club very rapidly became the number one club in Canada and number five and three Internationally. Neil served as Charter President, and in a variety of other executive positions.

Neil is married to Ann and they have two children and seven grandchildren and one great grandson.
